Hi,
You can go to www.burdastyle.com where they have cheap and sometimes free clothing patterns for you to print out at home. You stick all the sheets together and voila you have a clothing pattern. The instructions are also included. You will of course need a sewing machine!
If you haven't got one and you are lucky you might be able to pick one up from freecycle
If you are completley new at this then you probably want to start with something simple which you can make more exciting with your fabric choices. If you are on a budget you can even get some cheap fabrics by buying bedsheets or plus size clothes from a charity shop.
Good Luck

On most Cuckoo Clocks, when the movement on the inside strikes to mark the hour, a cuckoo bird appears out of a door and returns behind the door when the gong or other sound stops. Some clocks may perhaps have other animals, trains or people that appear to mark the time. Producing Cuckoo Clocks became such a common industry that craftsmen would attempt to outdo each other by creating a additional wonderful and elaborate clock than their neighbor. Not just the mechanisms of the clocks became additional sophisticated, moving from wood to metal, but also the decorations, which progressed from watercolor paints and square faces to elaborately carved faces painted in rich, bold colors.
In 1738, Anton Ketterer added a cuckoo bird to his clocks, and concept rapidly spread. Cuckoo clock making became a extremely specialized craft with various artisans producing diverse parts of the clock. A pendulum was now employed as an alternative to the old technique, and new innovations were often taking place. Styles of Cuckoo Clocks Each and every clock had its own special style, but specific fundamental styles emerged. By the mid 1800's, two styles predominated: the framed clock along with the railway house. The framed clock consisted of a wooden frame and painted inner section where the clock face would be attached. It was often painted with Black Forest scenes and had the cuckoo situated inside the upper section of the clock. The railway home style was shaped like a house and was frequently decorated with grape vines, ivy, flowers, or animals.
