Both 4wd.com and Quadratec have great upgraded gauges and also a new Holding Pod that angles them towards the driver's view... It looks like a great setup for the YJ that you have ... I'll be doing this to the wifes 89 soon ... As far as the wiring i'll be double checking the service manual i have for her jeep .... You have a simple slide in plug on the backside and it apears that the wires go left to right with the Gauges ...I can't swear to it without double checking the schematic first but it would stand to reason ... Each gauge will have a positive and negative wire for each gauge ... Again it looks simple enough and should be easy to do ... Your 89 YJ came with the puegot transmission , I think it's a BA something ... I Forget , it's been awhile..... Good Luck.......
The first Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks: It's not known who built the very first cuckoo clocks in the Black Forest, but is is recognized that this fascinating and appealing clock promptly circumvented the realm. One of the earliest known Cuckoo Clock makers was Franz Anton Ketterer (1676-1749) whose heritage is inside the Sch?nwald in Schwarzwald. By the mid eighteenth century several clock makers had set up shops and had been producing cuckoo clocks that worked with the aid of wooden plates and gears. The clocks had been beautifully carved and decorated with hand painted shields. The first Cuckoo Clocks were incredibly fundamental having only square faces and painted with water colors. As the clocks evolved and grew far more refined in their designs, they were also embellished with animated birds who flapped their wings and moved their beaks. There are several conflicting stories and legends which tell the story of the origins of the Cuckoo Clock within the Black Forest, but none of the stories can be verified. We also need to bear in mind that the concept of placing a cuckoo bird in a clock complete with sound and movement didn't originate in the Black Forest. However it's the people today of the Black Forest who developed in business, and improved on the technology and designs which have created Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks extremely desired timepieces all over the world. Creating Cuckoo Clocks was a cottage industry for quite a few years, but with the move to industrialization across a lot of the world inside the late 1800s, factories began production of the clocks. On the other hand, the families who traditionally produced Cuckoo Clocks had been still going powerful. They had been so skilled and devoted so significantly attention to their craft that individual family members had developed their talents to specialize in specific parts of the Cuckoo Clock's production. Some would assemble the gears, while others may paint the faces. That is why clocks created within the old-fashioned way right now are so beautiful and elaborate. Creating Cuckoo Clocks is still an critical part of the Schwarzwald's business right now. Despite the fact that factories generally create the gears and other metal parts, the outside of the clocks are still hand-carved and decorated just as they were over 200 years ago. Typical themes of Cuckoo Clocks contain hunting, family members life as well as the military, but there are various clocks produced nowadays with any type of theme you may envision. Both clocks with conventional and whimsical themes might be found on on the web and several fine examples of "Kuckucksuhren" and other handmade German folk art.
