First of all your friend is not making 1500hp.... I have a 03 mustang cobra. It comes with a stock supercharger. The twin screw style supercharger is commonly called a "roots" supercharger. I think the roots blowers for these mustangs are great but its simply preference. However, its a little more complicated then just throwing a blower on your car and going. In order to maximize the amount of power your making you may want to upgrade your pistons from the stock forged steel to aluminum because then you will be able to maximize the supercharger and make more power.
